Thank you for your trust in Career Upgrader to help you find your next job. We understand this is an investment and offer here some answers to potential questions you may have.

Commencement of Services

Services begin with the initial purchase. Within one hour, an email confirmation is sent with next steps, which serves as a gateway into our schedule, coaching pages, or one of our courses.

Scheduling, Cancellations & No-Show Fee

We reserve time exclusively for you. Missed sessions prevent us from helping others and incur costs. By scheduling a session, you agree to the following:

How to cancel or reschedule. Use the reschedule/cancel link in your confirmation email or calendar invite. All times are in Pacific Time (PT).

24-hour window. Cancellations or reschedules made less than 24 hours before your appointment are treated as late cancellations.

Definition of a no-show. If you have not joined your session within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time and have not notified us via the confirmation email thread, the appointment is considered a no-show.

Fee. Late cancellations or no-shows are charged a $50 No-Show Fee to the card on file. You authorize Career Upgrader to store your payment method and to charge this fee within 2 hours of the missed or late-canceled session.

Lateness. If you arrive late, your session will end at the originally scheduled time. Arriving 10+ minutes late without notice will be treated as a no-show.

Our side of the bargain. If we must cancel or reschedule inside 24 hours for any reason, you will not be charged a fee and we will offer the next available time as priority.

Courtesy waiver. While the policy is firm, we may, at our sole discretion, waive the fee once every 12 months for documented emergencies. To request a courtesy waiver, reply to your confirmation email within 24 hours of the missed appointment.

Disputes. If you believe a fee was charged in error, contact us in writing within 3 business days so we can review it promptly.

All Sales are Final

All sales on one-on-one coaching, tangible deliverables (Resumes and LinkedIn Profile update), recruiting, and support time are final, and are non-refundable.

All purchases are final. Due to the time investment and nature of our services, we do not offer refunds under any circumstances.

There is no trial period after purchasing coaching, tangible deliverables, or support services.

Your purchase from this website (or any payment links sent via our payment processor–Stripe) assumes full knowledge, acceptance and agreement of these Terms & Conditions, including the No Refund Policy and Chargeback Agreement

Chargeback Agreement

Filing a chargeback for a legitimate service will be treated as fraud. If a chargeback is filed, we will pursue legal action and report the client to collections. Clients who dispute a charge for a completed service agree to be permanently blacklisted from Career Upgrader.

What About Payment Plans?

If a payment plan was discussed, initial payment is due immediately to start services, then monthly payments are due every 30 days thereafter, at 0% interest until final payment is made.

There are no pre-payment penalties.

This contract is legally binding, and balance is expected to be paid in full as agreed upon by buyer, pursuant to these terms and conditions, regardless of outcomes.
